Agricultural & Pastoral show - Held on one of NZ's most picturesque Showgrounds which is also the venue of the famous Agrodome and Adventure site.
Featuring alpaca event, equestrian, harness horse, miniature horse, heavy horse & donkey & mule events. Dairy, beef, Dexter & Highland cattle events, dairy and Boer goat events, black & coloured sheep event, shearing & axemens competitions, plus entertainment for children & adults, Highland Dancing, ride-on mower racing, and trade and food sites. A great family day out!

The New Zealand Aria competition is one of Australasia's most prestigious singing competitions. The event, in its current format, has been held annually for the past 14 years. Formerly known as the Rotorua Lockwood Aria, the competition offers life-changing opportunities to entrants and has launched the careers of some fine young singers.
